Exit Wounds :(

Oh. My. Fucking. God.

I don't think I have any friends who haven't seen it by now, but I put it behind a cut just to be safe.

I cant believe it. I read the spoilers, so I wasn't surprised. But still.

Owen and Tosh died. They really died. I cried so hard from the moment Tosh was shot. Stange... I didn't like her character THAT much. Or Owen's. Strange again.
The goodbye message... Ianto logging them out. Jack crying over Owen's stuff. Oh, I can't even write about this, I'm gonna cry again.

The good parts:
  • John is not (that) bad ♥ AND calling Ianto Eyecandy
  • Space pig! and Tosh posing as a medic!
  • Jack, Ianto & Gwen together in the end *sweet*
  • Owen and Tosh talking before they died. It broke my heart, but still.
Did I mention I hate Gray? No? Then now I mention it. I HATE GRAY.
Mood:: 'crushed' crushed

"Because you're breaking my heart" that's when I progressed from crying pretty hard into full blown sobbing.

"We never did get that date."

Then Ianto logging them out & Jack clearing Owen's stuff & when the VIDEO came on & she spoke to Owen. Oh great, now I'm crying again >_

New to your flist, but I'm going to go ahead and dive right in with.....


OMFG! I had glanced at some spoilers so I wasn't exactly surprised but still!!! I'm like you in that I never particularly liked Tosh and actually only started liking Owen around s2 but their deaths still really got to me. Round about when Tosh said "you're breaking my heart" I was gone. I was actually more upset at the end when Jack was crying over Owen's stuff, Ianto was logging them out and Gwen was packing up Tosh. Traumatic stuff. I also found Jack buried alive for thousands of years to be really disturbing.

On the plus side though, I loved how they worked in Tosh on DW. And John not being all bad was nice.

I loved the way they tied up the loose thread about Tosh's space pig mission at the last possible moment, after even the flashback episode. The payoff felt particularly powerful and affectionate amid the poignancy.

Gah, EVIL GRAY. And I truly broke down when Owen started yelling when he first realised he was going to die. And goddamn, he didn't even get to see Tosh before they both died- I was up to my neck in tears. Argh.
