I LOVED this episode! I usually like futuristic episodes better but this one was fun! And strangely accurate, as much as I can tell after four years of learning Latin language and culture.

Me likey:

  • witty coversations at the beginning* (oh, I adore these too)
  • “Doctor, she’s returning.” (Rose!!)
  • marble inspector – that’s just hilarious
  • the TARDIS is modern art
  • English-spoken Latin (hah!) sounds like Welsh
  • Donna actually argues with the Doctor. And she’s good at it. In a way she’s better than Rose and Martha. (I love them all, don’t get me wrong.)
  • Quintus is cool :)
  • Donna in the purple dress (which is not really a toga) is LOVE
  • Donna shouting at the Sybill Sisters!
  • "just us girls" XD
  • OMG, WATER PISTOL!!
  • “You fought her off with a water pistol! I bloody love you!”
  • The Big Burden of a Time Lord Speech
  • the MOMENT in the escape pod
  • Voyage of the Damned music!
  • Donna crying <3
  • he needs her! : )
  • The Doctor and Donna are household gods!!
  • OOD next week!

*like these:

-You're not telling me the TARDIS is gone.
-Okay.
-Where is it then?
-You told me not to tell you.
-Oi, don't get clever in Latin!

-Says who?
-Says me.
-What, you're in charge?
-TARDIS, Time Lord, yeah.
-Donna, human, no.

-Well, I might just have something to say about that, Spaceman!
-Oh, I bet you will!

-I am Spartacus.
-And so am I.

Mood:: 'impressed' impressed

I LOVED THIS. The Doctor and Donna ARE household gods. Plus, that wonderful moment when he makes that pun and he looks at Donna and says, "No?" and she shakes her head and says, "No."

i totally saw that household gods business coming a mile away

and i hope that whole "we're not married, not ever, never" business becomes a running joke for the season, cause I totally don't see it getting old at all
