Background info: I'm giving a mini-presentation tomorrow at my Academic Skills class. My topic is sound change, how exciting. (IT IS! :D)
What's wrong with me? Why am I stressing myself over this?
First of all, my English is good and fluent. Or at least gooder and fluenter (see what I did there?) than most people's in my group.
Secondly, I can talk about a wide selection of topics for five bloody minutes. Yes, I'm a bit too good at talking, so what?
Thirdly, this topic interests me, and that means I don't even have to spend a long time preparing for the presentation cause I know it all already. More or less.
But the most important thing is: I can talk in front of people quite easily. (Especially if they're as stupid as my current groupmates /I'm not sure if that's an actual word/, I certainly won't be embarrassed before them! Sorry, but most of them are very stupid.) I just laughed to myself when Ms Edwards told us she knew the most difficult part is speaking in front of all that people. Well, LOL, not for me. See, this is not exactly the first time I'm giving a presentation. I did much longer ones back in high school. Not to mention the occasions when I HELD COMPLETE ENGLISH CLASSES to my classmates. Yes, I mainly made them (and my English teacher) watch House, but then they had to write a test too. Yes, I made them write a test ON HOUSE. How coolam I? is that? :DD (I miss high school.)
So why am I stressing myself again?
