I love David Tennant. You know how much I do. And, in spite of being a sad fangirl now, I respect his decision.

BUT STOP TALKING BULLSHIT DAVID. CAUSE THIS 'I DON'T WANT TO OUTSTAY MY WELCOME' SPEECH YOU'VE BEEN SAYING  EVERYWHERE SINCE LAST WEEK IS BULLSHIT. We get it, you want to move on. Just don't make stupid excuses.

He's probably been exposed to all the "it's time for a new Doctor" wank that's been going around pretty much since season 3, so he might honestly think that diehard Who fans are tired of him, or will get tired of him. Traditionally, actors don't stick with the role very long.
