Okay people. I gotta tell you: THE WOMBATS ROCK! Not that I (we) didn't know that before. BUT WOW. And I'm in love with Tord (the bassist). Just look at him, CUTEST THING EVER.
But more on that (with pics!) later.
We arrived to Sziget relatively early so we walked around the island with my sister. I bought her a beer cause she likes it. I don't. Anyway, she won a couple of T-shirts for us: I LOVE APEH ones. (For non-Hungarians: APEH is the revenue office in Hungary. :D)
We went to the stage early so we had a good place, third row, middle. Then the worst thing happened: sis had to pee. So she whined for like an hour cause I tried to convince her that it's not a good idea to leave her place as she couldn't have come back. :D

Adri has to pee
But at last The Wombats arrived!
AND THEY PLAYED LET'S DANCE TO JOY DIVISION. MY FAITH IN CONCERTS IS BACK. YAY!
Actually they played most of the songs from the album except for School Uniforms and Dr Suzanne Mattox PhD. Plus a new one. So I was happy happy happy. I still am. :)
After the concert we met Zoli and Hanni and Rozi and Livi and KD and Dávid and Geri and Attila and Marci. (Not all at once.) Yeah, it seems my whole class attended Sziget today. Good old Radnóti High.
We went to the Magic Mirror tent as well with Adri. Magic Mirror is a gay-themed place at Sziget where they hold gay-related programs. Today afternoon the topic was homophobia. Well, it was horrible. I'm not at all homophobic (I'm homophobic-phobic) but if all gay people were like the ones who spoke, maybe I would be. They were a bit too aggressive to a guy who asked a perfectly sensible question. (And he was not homophobic at all, he only said that he understanded people who had problems with a guy shagging a pink Bible in last years Budapest Pride. And asked them what they wanted to achieve with Prides in general.) I aked a question as well but they didn't even answer me. Guh. Yeah, I was a bit disappointed.
BUT STILL HAPPY CAUSE THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST GIGS I'VE EVER BEEN TO.
